A Little Piece of Heaven

These are individual fallen chocolate cakes that i made not too long ago with powdered sugar and sea salt on top. I've made these a few times before but i could never get the middle to ooze chocolate out but on this try i finally did! i just took them out a minute before the maximum cooking time and boom chocolate oozing out the middle! ( 14 min) They turned out to be delicious :)

Carnegie Mellon

A dark chocolate cupcake with orange buttercream garnished with a candy orange slice. Made 2 dozen of these for my mom's co-workers at carnegie mellon and they were a hit! One of her co-workers remarked " I would definately buy this!" :)

An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away.....

Baked cupcakes cooling on the rack before i frost them :)
So this week i made some Apple Spice cupcakes and i had given one to a man named Victor who was helping our restaurant with sales. In his professional opinion he thought my cupcake was delicious! which was great for me to hear :) Anyway in these cupcakes i used honeycrisp apples because they are my favorite apple and keep the cupcake very moist. After i peeled, cored, and diced the apples i cooked them in a little butter and sugar. I made sure to drain the excess liquid as not to make the batter runny. Spices i used were cinnamon, allspice, and a dash of nutmeg and on top of the cupcake is a honey cream cheese frosting decorated with butterfly sprinkles :)

Take A Bite....If You Dare!

I made these since Halloween is coming up soon and it's a chocolate cupcake with a vanilla buttercream dyed orange, Thought it went great with the black liners with orange bats and take a bite written on the bottom. Going to be Katniss Everdeen this Halloween. What are you guys going to be?

What's Up Doc?

Ahhhh a classic carrot cupcake with a piped cream cheese frosting on top and decorated with pearlized sprinkles. Wouldn't Bugs Bunny just eat this up? I know i would ;) Also reduced the amount of vegetable oil from 3/4 cup to about 1/2 cup because my last batch was a little too oily. These cupcakes are also lightly spiced with cinnamon.

It's Going To Be a Bumpy Ride....

Here are my Rocky Road cupcakes! A lovely chocolate cupcake with toasted walnuts added in and marshmallow frosting made golden brown for extra toastiness with a butane torch. All the flavors of your favorite ice cream put into a cupcake! :)
